Who Am I ?

I'm "Mr Harry," a musical multi-instrumentalist and producer from Bury, North Manchester. As a versatile musician, singer, producer, videographer, and creative force, I blend Neo-Soul, Hip-hop, Disco, Funk, Blues, Reggae, and more within the Nu-Soul/Hip-Hop genre. Influenced by artists like Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, J-Dilla, and Jimi Hendrix, my tracks span from 70s disco to old-school R&B/Hip Hop with a psychedelic twist. I often experiment with genres like rock and new jazz too.

I play guitar, keys, bass, and Bansuri flute, and I also rap, sing, and explore sound design. Currently studying Jazz and Indian music, I bring a deep knowledge of diverse musical traditions to my work. After leaving school age early at age 15 to study Music Production one a scholarship at Manchester Midi School, I then embarked on diverse adventures—volunteering in Nepal, studying Chinese medicine, biking across India, and living with Buddhist monks—shaped my dedication to music since age of 8 years old. Alongside producing music, teaching, and recording for other artists from my well equipped Budapest home studio.

I take pride in bringing out the best in every artist I record, creating a down-to-earth and comfortable environment. I've had the privilege of helping numerous new singers, rappers, and producers record their first music in a relaxed and chilled setting. With a rich musical heritage—my stepfather, Graham Lord, is a successful producer signed to Defected, amassing millions of streams and touring worldwide under the names Audiowhores and Malachi—I've been immersed in the industry from a young age, learning and applying valuable insights to my own craft. In addition to my skills in music production, I also excel in poetry and English language songwriting, which I enthusiastically teach to aspiring artists.
